Purpose of role
The Competence Domain Director is responsible for planning and developing GSC resources for delivery towards
Regions in most cost effective manner. Working in partnership with GSC Management Team and stakeholders in
order to ensure effective and efficient competence solutions by analyzing, planning, developing, implementing and
evaluating competence development to address business needs in deploying overall Ericsson strategy. Competence
Domain Director is responsible for bringing in cost efficiencies by developing competence for industrialized solutions
and automating services through tools and processes. Role is also responsible for developing competence on emerging
technologies.
