Global Corporate Payments (GCP) is the global leader in providing payments solutions for large Corporations and Small & Medium businesses. Our products & services deliver a number of benefits to our corporate customers including increased visibility into their business spending, added control, improved efficiency and cost savings. Our card programs also help keep employees safe, secure and productive while on the road. This role reports to the Latin America Region Director of Product Management. The incumbent will be responsible to integrate and lead the Product Management strategy and “Go To Market” plans for the Latin American region across local Co-brands and products (both T&E and Non T&E): 1. Co-brand Aeromexico 2. Co-brand SAM’s 3. Gasoline Card The main priorities of the Product Manager have clear linkages to the priorities and financial goals of the business unit: 1. Profitable charge volume growth and variable margin 2. Client entrenchment and retention 3. Customer satisfaction 4. Product market share 5. Customer share of wallet This dynamic position requires a strong understanding of the product set and deep understanding of customer industries, solutions and strategies. The Product Manager is the leader, spokesperson and voice of the products they represent within the region. The role requires the ability to articulate the local competitive landscape and develop local strategies and product differentiation by leveraging global and local research, field insights and customer feedback. The Product Marketing Manager understands and influences customer campaigns, product launches / revamps and marketing activities, while also delivers product & solutions feedback to the business (client management & sales teams). An essential aspect of the role is to align the content, timing and delivery of marketing messages and outreach to AMEX’s customers. The Product Manager must develop strong partnerships with stakeholders (global & local) to lead and execute the annual priorities, and maximize the impact of customer outreach. He/she also is responsible for the relationship with our Co-brand Partners to ensure adequate strategies and execution of plans to grow the business. Main responsibilities, among others: - Create, define and implement in alignment with the Global Product teams, a long term product strategy for the region, ensuring a consistent delivery of superior value to our customers - Translate and articulate changing customer needs into value proposition and product strategies - Drive product fixes, enhancements and revamps including SQP process delivery - Deliver a customer experience tailored to changing customer needs & values and consistent with the brand promise - Drive an optimal product strategy across customer segments and markets, balancing charge volume and contribution margin growth - work closely with segment teams to ensure segment plans contain the right focus on opportunities, benefits and the value proposition of our product/solution areas. - Develop Product “Go to Market” plans integrated with business goals and priorities - Manage partnerships with GMS and GBT to ensure the right coverage for our customers as well as an integrated value proposition for our customers. -Manage relationships with Co-brand partners for the right product strategy and operation. - Ongoing interaction with Sales, WS, Taxes, GCO, Compliance, Finance, and Global teams in order to deliver superior products and value in the market place - Deliver value prop content for training and sales support purposes - Monitor competitors within the geography and ensure competitive plans and response strategies are in place. - Use in-depth product expertise to localize, translate, deliver and evangelize core marketing content to clearly articulate value propositions to key influencers - Delivers targeted field support for sell-in of products to strategic accounts.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of Product Management expertise
- Excellent cross-group collaboration skills: Ability to influence in work groups both internally and externally to execute based on partnership/deal objectives
- Analytical skills as well as strong financial acumen to deliver aggressive financial goals and key metrics.
- Customer focused mindset (deep understanding of customers needs)
- Ability to translate and articulate changing customer needs into comprehensive value proposition and go to market product strategies
- Strong teamwork player
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
