I am working with a trading house based in South America who is looking for an experienced Coffee trader to add to their team.
Senior Level Coffee Trader –Brazil (Soft Commodities; Agriculture; Trading; Coffee; Arabica; Robusta; South America; LATAM; Physical)
I am working with a trading house based in South America who is looking for an experienced Coffee trader to add to their team. The suitable individual would have a good knowledge of the coffee markets with expertise in a particular region with the ability to add value to the existing trading house that have a global presence.
Responsibilities –
- Create and develop potential customer databases.
- Co-ordinate product trials across a range of coffee products
- Responsible for building and developing new clients and business activities across the appropriate region in addition to maintaining relationships with existing client base.
- Trade a profitable book of coffee products.
- Market research into other products including performance, prices, sales etc
- Communicate with origination teams to assist in sales and marketing strategies and opportunities.
- Have a good knowledge of coffee across Europe.
Skills/Attributes –
- Must be bilingual.
- Sales and trading experience in Soft Commodities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work and travel alone.
