About the Role:
Territory Account Manager responsible for all territory end user and partner business within an assigned territory. Create and execute territory business plan, including end users and partner joint objectives/goals. The territory account manager is a strategic contributor to sales/marketing programs and the executive liaison within partner for McAfee. Responsible for overall ownership of account and partner relationships in territory. Responsible for meeting assigned quota and may also be responsible for achievement against set of annual and quarterly tactical objectives.
Expected to evaluate and expand business of existing accounts and partners. Working with marketing to create awareness and demand for company products through quarterly and annual marketing programs and sales incentives. Expected to foster and maintain high-level relationships with identified territory accounts and partners across key functional groups. Expected to raise complex issues and provide suggestions regarding resolution on behalf of customer and partner and across the channel. Must balance McAfee's corporate vision against goal of maximizing revenue in the territory. Expected to handle complex negotiations with accounts and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate channel enablement activities, SE trainings with McAfee presales and inside SE organizations
- Exceed annual territory quota
- Expectation of 5 to 10 partner and end-users calls per week in assigned territory.
- Drive the creation and execution of quarterly marketing plans to drive territory business in McAfee Partners
- Target renewal rate in territory is 80% and assist with partner involvement in driving 90% renewal rate in corporate and enterprise accounts if partner is present
- Possess in-depth knowledge of key competitors and demonstrate ability to articulate McAfee's advantageous position to end users and partners
- Conduct sales trainings and execute on weekly marketing activities in the plan
- Weekly travel conducting sales calls in territory
- Responsible for creating objectives & strategies which will contribute to the overall business plan to achieve territory goals
- Manager Deal Registration, Teaming Agreements, Partner discounts and Rebates
- Deliver weekly forecasting to management
- Manage weekly pipeline reports
- Manage lead flow in concert with partner and inside sales for target campaigns
- Work cross functionally with counterparts in Inside Sales and assigned operation
Qualifications
Required Experience/Skills & Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years sales experience, minimum 4-6 years in selling High Tech products through the end users and channel.
- Experience managing large territories or equivalent is required.
- Fluent in English (required)
