Job Summary:
The Integration engineer can be expected to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a Node / network / system. Scope could include the scenarios of Introduction, upgrade expansion / functionality and capacity) this to form part of customer legacy.
As integration engineer you will be responsible for the integration of hardware and software in new or upgraded networks in accordance to customer requirements (Commissioning and testing). You might travel internationally and work in different cultural environments.
The Installation service applies to all network elements in new, upgrade, expansion, dismantling and swap installations.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Plan the implementation of the Product Configuration / Integration work
• Execute Product Configuration (O)
• Execute Integration work (O)
• Prepare acceptance test and handover to customer
• Post Project activities perform

• Ericsson Portfolio Knowledge
• Language skills
• Experience of integration of complex systems in customer environments
• Ability to work under pressure and in quickly changing environments
• Ability to find and understand relevant standards such as 3GPP and IETF
• Strong telecommunications network knowledge.
• Knowledge of VoIP, 3GPP, IMS (CSCF, HSS, MRS, MRFP, MRFC, SBC, BGF, CUDB, CSFB, SRVCC, ICS for VoLTE).
• Knowledge of 4G network architecture elements and protocols
• Knowledge of LTE/IMS/EPC/IP network architecture elements and protocols
• Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches highly desired.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor degree; computer science and electrical engineering required.
Preferred Qualification and Experience Requirements
• Problem Solving
• Troubleshooting skills
• Be able to travel internationally with short notice in line with business requirements
• Be fluent in English, both written and verbally.
• Good skills in communicating, leading, influencing, building networks and relationships, presenting, coordinating, planning and delivering results.
• Ability to manage customer requirements and expectations from integration through to the handover stage.
