1.1 Process responsibilities
The Operations Manager is associated to the Readiness, Fulfillment, Assurance and Billing (R-FAB) process area and
is the owner of the processes relevant to the organization they are responsible for. The relevant Managed Services
organizations are:
· 1st Level operations within Operations taking care of the service elements as per attached sheet
The Operations Manager may delegate responsibility and associated activities.
The Operations Manager is responsible and a driver/facilitator for improvements within the relevant Managed Services
organization and must take responsibility for any changes introduced to the organization, processes and methods that
may have an effect on the supplied service quality with respect of meeting contracted scope (including quality).
1.2 Functional responsibilities
The Operations Manager is responsible for management of the relevant part(s) of the Operations (R-FAB) activities
including personnel. The Operations Manager must ensure well being of staff and in respect of working environment
and conditions of employment. The Operations Manager must also ensure that the organization they are responsible for
understands its responsibility and maintains the proper focus as to efficiently achieve set goals.
