Description

 
Summary: The Talent Development Lead drives and manages the execution of the key people processes, directs the development plans, build solutions to develop skills and competencies within the workforce. The TD organization deisgns and applies change management and organizational development strategies, and influences and assists organizational change initiatives in support of business strategies.
 
Main Activities/Responsabilities/Autority:
  • Execute People Processes (DPR, People Review, Succession Planning, Organizational Survey / L-180 administration/ reporting / feedback)
  • Stay current on corporate toolkits, processes and communications.
  • Ensure effective use,  appropriate local adaptation, and continued alignment of the processes and tools within the region
  • Plan and facilitate events in partnership with local HR team
  • Educate and coach HR team and leadership on philosophy, tools, and practices
  • Plan and coordinate development programs and activities and serve as a facilitator to ensure programs are implemented effectively and efficiently per agendas
  • Designs and applies change management and organizational development strategies, and influences and assists organizational change initiatives in support of business strategies
  • Provide a service within Monsanto in the context of leadership and organization effectiveness to “contract” with the client, help diagnose situations (such as team effectiveness), recommend appropriate actions, lead or assist in the implementation, and evaluate accomplishments relative to desired outcomes via a feedback loop.
  • Commitments are constrained by experience and expertise to developing an understanding of the situation and finding someone with the necessary expertise to support the client
  • Analyze training needs, create or update curriculum, deliver training program through a variety of mediums, lead the development of the leadership academy. 
  • Measure for effectiveness.
 
 

Qualifications

 
Required Qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
  • Masters degree in business, organizational behavior, HR management, or related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal Portuguese and English is essential.
 
Other Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to coordinate people and resources
  • Ability to establish trust and a reputation for discretion and sound judgment and advice
  • Capacity to effectively initiate relationships and build rapport with senior leadership
  • Knowledge of functional human resources disciplines, including staffing, learning and development, HR planning, performance management, and compensation and benefits
  • Skill in critical and creative thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Skill in strategic planning
  • Skill in written and oral communication, including persuasive negotiation skills
Required Knowledge/Experience:
  • HR experience; experience in talent development (TD), organization development (OD), or organization effectiveness,
  • Previous experience as HR Business Partner is wellcome;
  • Demonstrated experience coaching leaders and employees on carreer development plans;
